Our Engineering school will provide you with a broad knowledge of all majors of the field, as well as specialized training in your discipline. By collaborating with faculty and students in research and design projects both within and alongside the formal curriculum.

You will learn how to put theory into practice. Whether your interests are in basic research, engineering practice, entrepreneurship, or you are hoping to use your knowledge of Engineering in another field; our program will provide you not only with the technical skills necessary to practice your profession, but also with a vision and perspective that will guide you throughout your life and career.

I encourage all students to utilize the experience they will gain at CIC to move on to their career in Egypt, Canada and all over the world as they will be leaders in the fields of business/engineering. As quality of education is our main concern, school of Engineering was ranked number 1 in quality accreditation for two consecutive years. Finally I would like to say that all staff will assist you for a better future. I hope this new year will be fruitful for all of you.

In collaboration with the Syndicate of Engineers, CIC now provides preparation course for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) test to all Engineering potential graduates so they can be accredited all over the world.

Through providing such program, we give our students the chance to review main concepts and provide them with examples to enable them to pass the exam. This test is the first step for the students in the process of becoming licensed engineers that will allow them to work in several countries worldwide.

Architecture is a wide-ranging discipline based on physical structures, methods of designs, technical and professional curriculum. We, at the CIC, will provide you with professional skills combining both sides of the brain; creative and logical. You will also pick up skills of teamwork, and have professional advice in difficult and pressurized situations. This field is mostly about art and creativity, and how you can mix them with science to design and build something that is perceived as a work of art.

Communication & Electronics

Communication & Electronics

Telecommunications Engineering is the field that deals with Electrical and Computer Engineering in order to enhance and support communications systems and transfer of high data transmissions. This major involves the transmission of information across channels such as a coax cable, optical fiber, and free space. You will be able to design equipment such as routers, switches, multiplexers and electronic switching systems, any many others. We give you the chance to be  exposed to the latest cutting-edge technologies, and programs that combine theory with vitally important practical work.

The newest of all Engineering fields, Mechatronics combine principles of mechanics, electronics, computer engineering, robotics and automatic control. Through studying Mechatronics you will be able to understand the necessary techniques for the design and implementation of such intelligent mechatronic systems.

Studying Civil Engineering at The CIC will enable you to shape, build, maintain and expand societies. Our training programs will teach you how to apply mathematics and scientific knowledge to real-life situations and problems that arise from creating and maintaining structures, taking into account environmental, financial, legal and ethical considerations.

The tools that help us build societies and civilizations, the tools that allow us to travel daily at ease – it all comes down to machines that are designed, constructed, and used by Manufacturing Engineers. You can design and manufacture the majority of products that we use every day – cars, sports equipment, vehicles and public transport infrastructure, and industrial applications such as the structural design of oil platforms.

CIC is dedicated to producing well-rounded graduates that possess not only academic excellence, but also the real-world skills needed to succeed. In order to achieve this, CIC arranges for field trips outside the campus to allow students to visit businesses that are relevant to the material they are studying. These trips are designed to give them experience and insight into their major, making then more aware and equipped for when they graduate and enter their career. By doing so, CIC is providing the students with the experience beyond the classroom that will be the foundation for their future success.

Engineering students have the opportunity to visit with many partner companies, including Emaar and Orascom Constructions. Upon return to the college, students are often given assignments or projects that encapsulate the experience in a meaningful way.

CIC is dedicated to supporting its students, and therefore has many scholarships and financial aid opportunities available. CIC is educating the leaders of tomorrow, and wants to make sure that brilliant young minds are not overlooked based on their financial situation today. As part of our commitment to excellence in education, we want to ensure that all students who are accepted to CIC can pursue their studies with financial peace of mind.
Scholarships are awarded based on various criteria, including merit and need. To see if you are eligible, check out the link below.

I am an Engineering Graduate,2009. I am currently working as Service Assurance Supervisor in FGL company in Canada. After graduation I got a job immediately in Hewlett Packard firm. It was not that hard to get used to work as I had already got that experience while I was in college as I did two summer internships (co-op) one in El Sweedy for cables and the other in RAYA. Actually, this is one of the huge benefits that CIC has provided for me. If I went back in time, CIC would be my answer every time.
