Welcome to CIC, you are about to begin an exciting life experience where you will be exposed to different cultures, new people, new events and new ideas. The Students’ Residence will help you to cope with your accommodation and will provide you with a secure and clean environment together with a variety of highly integrated services that will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The buildings have many common facilities, computers, dining rooms, study areas, wireless high speed internet access and TV with satellite channels as well as telephones for making local calls or receiving international calls. Free housekeeping, dry clean services and laundry of bed linens are provided. There is also 24-hour security service provided.

Living in the Students’ Residence offer you an active social calendar that makes it easy for you to meet new Egyptian friends whose parents live abroad or those from other Egyptian cities, as well as many international students from Arab countries and around the world. As you tend to scan the following pages you will be totally aware that the students’ residence will provide you with a true home where all your essentials will be met at the hands of highly trained personnel.

Al Tagamo’a Residence

Al Tagamo’s Students’ Residence is a villa located close (3 minute walk) to the CIC campus in the surrounding neighborhood. The Villa is designed in accordance with the latest international construction design and integrated facilities.

The hostel consists of the following:

1. Building A: A three- storey building that consisting of:

The Basement Floor: It consists of two spacious halls equipped with television, computer sets, a dinning, and a central service area.

The First and Second Floors: Each floor has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with two beds, two wardrobes, and two desks.

The Roof: It is a recreational area where the students can meet to enjoy the nice view and to entertain themselves by having a barbeque, cultural and social events.

2. Building B (The villa): It is a small two-storey villa that has three rooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious reception area. The Rooms

All Student rooms are furnished with two beds, desks, chairs and wardrobes; pillows, blankets, sheets, pillow cases and towels. Linens are changed and laundered free of charge. Rooms are cleaned on daily basis by the housekeeping service. Laundry/dry clean services are available for free. Shared bathrooms with showers are located on each floor.

• The services offered include:   • 24 hour front desk service   • Reception area with a comfortable setting for receiving     guests.   • study area in each room   • Dining Rooms   • Computers   • Laundry/dry-clean services, available for free.   • Housekeeping service, cleaning of rooms in the presence and    at the request of the resident (bedding and towels are     changed free of charge).   • Shuttle buses run between the residence and CIC frequently    and shuttles run in the evening between Al Tagamo’a    Residence and  Al Rehab ( three days) and between the two    hostels and City Stars or any other (Mall, Shopping area…etc)    to be decided upon by the students in the residence (three     days).

Medical Services A physician is available on campus on daily basis during the college working hours.

As for the evenings and the night period, students are taken to the closest hospital at the expense of their medical insurance, in case they undergo emergency.

Hospitality Services A contract was concluded with a specialized catering company that provides the hostel with diverse hospitality services.

Two meals are provided for students on daily basis. Students have the right to order any special light meals/drinks starting from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm.

Supervision Services The hostel's supervisors are carefully selected, against special educational and experience criteria in order to be able to handle various situations promptly and efficiently, and to create a sound communication channels with the students.

2011-2012 Residence Fees

Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fees for Al Tagamo’a Residence

Plus housing deposit (all rooms) L.E. 2000

The deposit is held against damages and any unpaid fees but is refundable at the end of the student’s stay in the residence.
